It feels so surreal to be able to say, I did it!
UH Hilo
UH Hilo offers the quintessential college experience. Its campus has a pleasant atmosphere, student diversity and inclusion, and the epitome of stunning. In fact, it was one of the smaller schools I applied to, so I love the size.
Big Island
Hilo is like a small town on its own with beautiful parks and lush forests, waterfalls, beaches and trails. A place rich in history, mana and 'olēlo. Hilo has a laid-back environment and a slow-pace lifestyle, which is what I loved about it the day I arrived.
The Big Island will always be the highlight of my stay during these two years. I had an absolutely fantastic time, Hilo! I will miss here particularly the culture and the spirit of 'ALOHA' that never goes unnoticed anywhere and everywhere. Fa'afetai tele, soifua ma ia manuia!
