"The future rewards those who press on. I don't have time to feel sorry for myself. I don't have time to complain. I'm going to press on."

First, I would like to thank my professors, coaches, and teammates. Without you, I wouldn’t have had such an amazing experience during my time at UH Hilo. Second, I would like to thank my friends. While our time here together may have been short, we have made so many memories, and there are many more to come in the future. Last but not least, I would like to thank my family for supporting me as I navigate this difficult journey we call life. I would also like to give a special shout out to my parents James and Emily Hirayama. I couldn’t have done any of this without your constant love and support. Thank you guys for everything you do for me.
