My experience here at the University of Hawai’i at Hilo has been nothing short of life changing. I have learned so much about myself and the power of knowledge through the process of education here. Every single one of my professors have ushered a level of knowledge I will carry throughout my life with so much pride.
I would like to personally thank Dr. Kirsten Møllegaard, who is the English Department Chairperson and a wonderful professor of English. Dr. Møllegaard has relentlessly encouraged me, supported me, and listened to me as I pursued my journey as an English major, and a human being, and I am forever grateful for all that she is.
Thank you to my incredible family who perpetually supported me no matter how hard it was to be away from them.
