Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
I would like to thank my loving and supporting family for helping me get through my college education and become the person I am today.
I want to thank my parents for guiding me every step of the way and working hard to support me financially.
My two brothers for being my best friends, surfing with me, and even laughing about even the smallest things.
My grandparents for giving me valuable advice and lifelong knowledge.
Above all I want to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for walking with me every step of the way. I wouldn’t have been able to do any of this on my own.
One of my favorite pastime hobbies is to go surfing. It's one of the things that allows me to destress, relax, and ultimately reminds me of surfing with my family back home.
One of my favorite memories during my time at UH Hilo was surfing at Honoliʻi for the first time. I went with a group of friends during hurricane season while it was pouring rain. We walked down a slippery, muddy trail on the side of the hill to paddle out from the river. Then when we paddled back in after our surf session, we realized that there was a staircase.
Share the Aloha!
