On my head is a locally made haku or leipo’o. Wearing a pohnpeian skirt paired with a strapless top and the FSM flag sash in the Hale Ikena garden. Wherever your feet lands you, REPRESENT! Be proud of who you are.

For hours I was angry and disappointed, wanted to cancel and drop everything. But then I was reminded that life is not easy. It will throw us into hurdles and rollercoasters, and it is entirely up to us how we react to it.

Thank you UH Hilo for the memories, experiences, and life lessons. Not only did I gain knowledge, but also important life skills, lifelong mentors and friends. Go to those one on one discussions with the professors it will help you in the long run.
