Dear Graduates,

You made it through another challenging academic year! So want to extend a special congratulations to you for your commitment and resilience in earning your Kapiʻolani Community College credential. All of the KCC team, the University of Hawaiʻi System, and the Regents are deeply proud of what you have accomplished.

We remain committed to imparting a transformational higher education experience for every student. Our goal is to ignite your passion for learning and discovery, instill a sense of local and global citizenship, and prepare you to achieve professional and personal success that will advance you, your family and your community. Whether your aspirations involve continuing on in higher education, taking on new employment opportunities, or following another path altogether, we applaud your work at Kapiʻolani Community College.

On behalf of the people of Hawaii, I congratulate you on being awarded your degree or certificate by Kapiʻolani Community College (KCC). You are now on your path to success and can meet every challenge and opportunity with your unique set of skills and knowledge you have developed over your college career.

Your accomplishment today signifies the commitment, sacrifice, and hard work you have put in to achieve your goals. Please take the time to thank those who supported you throughout your college journey, including your family, friends, instructors, counselors, and mentors. You would not have been able to achieve what you have without them.

As you move onto your next chapter of your life, I look forward to witnessing your contributions toward positively shaping the future of our state, nation, and world. Mahalo to the faculty and staff of KCC and to all those involved in making today possible. Again, congratulations to all graduates and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

I am pleased to congratulate the graduates of Kapiʻolani Community College on the occasion of their commencement ceremony. Self-discipline, diligence, and hard work have brought you to this day, and I join your family, friends, faculty, and staff in celebrating your efforts and accomplishments.

Congratulations and mahalo to all who have provided support to these graduates, helping them to engage, learn, and achieve while juggling the demands of school, and for many, also balancing work and family commitments.

Mahalo to the dedicated faculty of Kapiʻolani Community College for preparing these students to become valued members of our workforce, start new careers, or further advance their education.
