I am grateful for my amazing husband who has always pushed me to go after my dreams, my kids for being my inspiration, & my parents for always knowing I could do it. I am also grateful for my family & friends who encouraged me to start college & kept pushing me, my first academic counselor- Jordan Lewton who made it feel like an easy & less scary process to get started, & for my first professor, Brenda Kwon who pushed me to strive for an A. Because of her, I set my standards for myself a little higher & I finished my Associates with getting an A in every class but 1.
Leeward has shown me how easy it is to accomplish anything I set my mind to. I am so thankful for this school and all of its amazing educators who felt genuinely interested in our success.
