My Biggest Inspiration

My family has been and will always be my biggest inspiration. I love them with all my heart. In my mom’s side of the family, I am the oldest grandchild. Being the oldest grandchild, I’ve always wanted to be someone my sister and younger cousins that they can look up to. I want to be an inspiration to each of them. I want them to be able to look at me and see me as someone who never gives up. With this accomplishment, I know I made my family very proud and that is everything to me. I know I am someone that my sister and cousins look up to and I will not let them down.

To my family,
Thank you for always being there for me, believing in me, supporting me, and being my inspiration. I love you fam.

Living in fear will get you nowhere. Take charge of your life and live it to the fullest. We must always take each lesson that life gives us seriously because you will always fail at something. Nonetheless, you are given another chance to change every single day. As long as we are alive, we never stop learning.

I remember during my third year at Leeward CC, one of my professors shared a story to the class that I will not forget. One evening, as “Bia” (not my professor’s real name) was studying for a big exam the next day, she got a text from her friends inviting her to go to the movies with them. She was getting tired from studying and knew that she needed a break. “Bia” did not even think twice and went for it. She ended up getting a really high score on that exam because she did what made her happy. That day “Bia” shared that story, I got invited to the movies and I also happened to have an exam for a different class the following day. And guess what? I did what made me happy.
