My favorite memory at Leeward CC was taking theatre classes with Betty Burdick. I love acting and being on stage and I learned so much in her class about performing. She was so encouraging and uplifting that if I felt like I couldn’t do something, she was always there to encourage me and tell me that I can do it. I had the best laughs with my classmates in her class because it was always such a fun and joyful time. She was one of my favorite professors and I wish I could take classes from her again in the future!
